Usually fish from shore at Jacobs, IMO- result are the same either boat or shore due to shallow-uniform depth of this impoundment

Roostertail, daredevel, and little cleo- March/April/Early May, Senko, Tiny Torpedo, BooYAAA Frog, Scum Frog- Late May, June, July, August
Hate to say it though, this is one of those ponds that I have fished for 30 + years and occasionally you will be skunked withouth Live Shiners -
I still can't do good here.
I never caught a fish here!

Shore fishing or canoe/kayak? I was out there last Friday and got 5. Place is really starting to weed up again. Still one of my favorites!
