Hit up Lake Boone around 9 on Sunday. I could have been in the Upper Mystic tourney but I'm an idiot and didn't check the website Saturday night. Next time...
The bite was very slow. We threw frogs, buzzbaits, jigs, crankbaits, senkos, and spinners. In total landed 8 bass, none of which were anything to write home about. "lunker" of the day is 1 3/4lb. Got the boat out of the water right before the skies opened up on us. Little disappointed, I would have expected more out of Boone.
No man we are pulling your leg. If we tell you it sucks and you stay away then we get it all to our selves. That place is the F'n BOMB!!!! But only in a boat. I'm not sure what road the ramp is on. It's just a dirt ramp that's not marked in any way
Lol sooo general consensus is, it WAS a great place, but now its becoming more hassle than its worth?

yeah no shore spots at all really, boat only. and it stinks stay away, lol love it
I've heard many things about this "Boone Lake/Lake Boone" I've checked it out on google earth/mapquest etc. There doesn't seem to be many places to shore fish at all, and where would you launch a boat from? Couldn't seem to pinpoint any ramps. Unless its near the swimming area near those soccer fields/day camp.
