A Cold Day, But A Great One.
Another productive day at Neponset Reservoir. Cold, and only one fish. My initial weighing of this fish seemed light, as I know I caught big 7.7 lb'er last year and this one was bigger. I then checked my Rapala digital scale with 7 lbs of salt water weights hanging from it and it weighed 5.10 lbs consistently, meaning it initially weighed the bass at 1.6 lbs light...add it on and it was 8 lbs 4 oz's....my best yet. Kreature baits rule!......and maybe I need a new scale or change my batteries?
